Robar are the manufacturer of ROLOG Logging fittings. These include choker hooks and bells, skidder rings, spiral wedge ferrules, press-on ferrules, strawline hooks, twitch hooks, ring and sleeve type holdtight hooks. They are generally used with wire rope in high line, helicopter, balloon and skidder log harvesting. They are cast and heat-treated generally in low alloy steel and often heat-treated to strengths in excess of 90 tons per sq. in. breaking strength.
