T/S-800 Brake on Unwind Stand
Problem
An unwind stand equipped with a non-Nexen brake was losing a steady amount of torque over a relatively short period, eventually failing. Brake life for the competitive model was averaging only three months.
Solution
Replacing the competitive unit with a Nexen T/S-800 brake has eliminated the diminishing torque problem and dramatically extended brake life. In addition, the customer was pleased to learn of Nexen's rebuild kits which inexpensively extend brake life.
