Choosing a fan
What We Need to Know
Tell us the blade count, diameter, projected width, pilot (spigot) size and whether the fan pushes or pulls – or the machine’s make, model and OEM fan part number.
How it works
What Is HTEC?
Horton Thermoset Engineered Composite.
Not Metal, Not Nylon
HTEC fans are a thermoset engineered composite. Cross-linked molecular bonding gives metal-like strength with the efficiency of moulded nylon – and less blade deflection than nylon, for more cooling.

Shaped for Airflow
The composite lets Horton optimise blade length, shape and tip design for airflow, efficiency and low noise. Hundreds of HTEC fans are working across Australia, the earliest lasting the life of the engine.
