S & HT/S Fan Drives
The Horton HT/S is Norman G Clark’s Melbourne-made on/off fan drive for heavy-duty diesels – B-doubles and road trains. Its hub bearing assembly suits high run-time work, and Outback upgrades handle Australia’s hottest conditions.

HT/S SD is the OEM specification after May 2016. Kysor conversion kits let fleets fit an HT/S in place of a Kysor or DMA-2S drive.
How it works
How It Protects Itself
System Sentry®
The piston friction disc carries Horton’s patented System Sentry. If heat builds up from slipping or a blocked fan, it releases and disengages the drive before the cooling system is badly damaged.
Longer-Life Air Cartridge
A carbon-tip cartridge with a double O-ring air seal reduces the chance of air leaks.
