PP Series Under-Bonnet Pre-Cleaners
Compact pre-cleaners for engines with no room for an outside intake. They mount on, or connect to, the air cleaner under the bonnet – no changes to the outside of the vehicle.

How it works
How the PP Series Works
Inside a PP Pre-Cleaner
Air enters through static vanes (5) that set it spinning. The rotor (2), on two ball bearings (3), blows the separated dirt out of the discharge ports (1); clean air leaves through the outlet pipe (6) to the air cleaner.
PP models connect to metal ducting; PP E models take a flexible hose.

How to choose
Choosing a Model
Size It by Airflow
For turbocharged or turbo-aftercooled engines, choose by the engine’s maximum airflow (m³/min or CFM). The horsepower range is only a guide for naturally aspirated engines.
Match the Outlet
Each model has standard outlet sizes; reducing sleeves adapt it to smaller tubes, from 7" down to 2.5" in ¼" or ½" steps.
Keep It Clear
Pre-cleaners need almost no maintenance – just check now and then that nothing is blocking the intake or the discharge ports.
