Stark Air Dryer Coalescer
The Stark air dryer protects air brake systems from freeze-ups, clogging and corrosion by filtering, coalescing and cooling the compressed air. It removes oil, carbon, dirt and sludge – and the water – on trucks, buses and off-highway machines.

How it works
How It Works
Filter, Coalesce, Cool, Purge
Air from the compressor passes through a vacuum-formed micro-glass fibre element that traps solids and coalesces oil and water droplets. The finned body cools the air. Every 5 minutes, a built-in Expello valve purges the collected sludge for 1 second; a heater keeps the valve area from freezing below about 7 °C.

How to choose
Installation Tips
Location
Mount vertically, away from exhausts and other heat, with 200 mm clear below for servicing.
Discharge Line
At least 3 m of metal line from the compressor, sloped down to the dryer; max. inlet 85 °C.
Position
Between the compressor and wet tank, as close to the wet tank as possible.
Keep It Clean
Wash it down if needed – don’t paint it.
