How it works
How the C Series Works
Three Stages in One Housing
First the pre-cleaner: static vanes (1) spin the air and the rotor (4), on two ball bearings (3), blows the dust out of the discharge ports (2) at the back. Then the air passes the primary element (5) and the safety element (6), which hold back 99.9% of what is left, and leaves through the outlet (9).
A restriction indicator can be fitted to the tapping point (8) to show when the elements need changing.

Why the C series
A Complete Air Cleaner
One Connection
Pre-cleaner and filter in one package – compact and simple to install.
Filters Last Longer
The pre-cleaner removes up to 90% of the dirt before the elements.
Flexible Mounting
Adjustable mounting bands make the housing easy to fit.
Downtime and Fuel
Downtime cut by up to half, and fuel use down by up to 10%.
The range
C Series Sizes
For turbocharged engines, choose by maximum airflow; for naturally aspirated engines the horsepower range is a guide.

How to choose
Choosing a Model
Size It by Airflow
For turbocharged or turbo-aftercooled engines, choose by the engine’s maximum airflow (m³/min or CFM). The horsepower range is only a guide for naturally aspirated engines.
Match the Outlet
Each model has standard outlet sizes; reducing sleeves adapt it to smaller tubes, from 7" down to 2.5" in ¼" or ½" steps.
Keep It Clear
Pre-cleaners need almost no maintenance – just check now and then that nothing is blocking the intake or the discharge ports.
