F3 Series HT/S Repair and Upgrade Kits
Designed and made in Australia under licence from Horton USA for harsh Australian conditions, the F3 (F35008) Series replaces the F25008 range – with high-temperature seals and bearings, finned discs and colour-coded kits.

HD Heavy Duty – F35008HD
Standard-temperature NBR seals; for singles and pre-EGR (c. 2008) engines.
- All 9.5" HT/S drives
SD Super Duty OEM – F35008SD
OEM specification: HNBR seals and Outback bearing; 30% more temperature tolerance.
- B-doubles and road trains
OB Outback – F35008OB
SD plus a red finned piston friction disc for high ambient temperatures.
- High ambient heat
SOB Severe Outback – F35008SOB
Premium kit: green finned disc and Outback DRAC pulley bearing.

How it works
How a Rebuild Works
Back to original specification.
Replace What Wears
A Horton kit replaces the friction linings, bearings, seals and springs, so the drive goes back to its original specification for less than a new one.
Quick Fit: Pre-Assembled
Quick Fit kits come with the front fan mounting assembly, liner and clutch pack already built. They bolt on with eight screws – no left-hand thread, no special Torx Plus bit and no air needed to seat the assembly.
Test It
After every HT/S or DMA repair, an air decay test (ADT150) confirms the seals are seated and the drive holds air.

High-Temp Seals
Blue HNBR D-ring and O-ring seals on SD, OB and SOB.
Outback Bearing
Higher-temperature fine spline bearing assembly.
Finned Discs
Red (OB) and green (SOB) discs dissipate more heat.

Each grade has its own colour.
