Mobile, PTO and Engine Clutches
Ogura’s mobile clutches switch pumps, compressors and implements on and off from the cab or the operator’s seat. They started as air-conditioning compressor clutches and now drive hydraulic, water and vacuum pumps, service-truck compressors, mower decks and engine-driven machines.

How it works
How It Works
Engaging
Power to the coil turns it into an electromagnet. The magnetic flux crosses a small air gap and pulls the armature hard against the friction face, so the two turn together – electrically switched, but transmitting torque mechanically.
Releasing
Switch the power off and springs pull the armature back, opening a small air gap so the parts turn freely. Cycling is just switching the coil on and off; once engaged there is no slip, so torque transfer is 100% efficient.

Smart Clutch Control
Closed-loop module that soft-starts the clutch and disengages it if it slips too much.
