Every Eclipse and Evolve brake, with dimensions and ratings, is in the finder below. Evolve brakes are holding brakes for emergency stops, not for repeated dynamic stopping.
How it works
How It Works
Default to Lock
Springs clamp the friction disc whenever there’s no air (Eclipse) or no power (Evolve). Air, or power to the coil, frees the shaft – so a failure always leaves the axis held. Flexible discs and a clamp collar keep it free of backlash.
