How it works
How the BlueCAT 300 Works
Catalyst and Controller
A 3-way catalytic muffler, with an oxygen sensor port built in, works with a digital air/fuel ratio controller. The controller keeps the engine at the right mixture so the catalyst removes CO, HC and NOx together.
Lights on the controller show power, faults, warm-up, the oxygen sensor and how the mixture is being trimmed; a dash warning light tells the driver if the system fails.
